After a collision:

*Turn on your hazard warning lights and move to the side of the road, if possible.
*Before exiting the vehicle, assess the situation. Are you injured? Is it safe to leave the vehicle? If there are any injuries, ask someone to call the police. Then wait for the police to arrive. If on a highway, for your safety we recommend you wait for police in your vehicle.
*Stay clear of traffic, exchange the contact and insurance information with the other party. However, do not discuss the accident with the other -arty or admit fault.
*Report the accident to the police.
*Call your insurance representative to initiate a claim.
